Overview

Infection control is one of the most important responsibilities of every dental team, and a GDC [highly recommended] CPD topic. This interactive, face-to-face course gives Dental Nurses, Hygienists/Therapists and Practice Coordinators the knowledge and practical confidence to apply infection prevention principles correctly and consistently in everyday clinical practice.

Structure and learning experience

Delivered over one focused morning, the course combines group discussion, real clinical scenarios and live practical demonstration. Delegates work through each stage of the decontamination cycle and clinical workflow, then apply it in a simulated surgical set-up, so learning moves straight from theory to practice. The course is delivered with industry support from Dürr Dental.
